"Mission to Poland" was a united effort from the Victory Outreach Churches in Düsseldorf, Germany; Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and Den Haag, Holland; London and Manchester, England; Dublin and Cork, Ireland. Decked out in red t-shirts, the large team descended upon the second largest city in Poland – Lodz. Through their connection with a local church pastor they had met on a previous outreach endeavor, the team was welcomed into the city by Pastor Piotr, who also runs a coffee house for drug addicts and the homeless. In addition to their lodging, the coffee house provided the team with electricity needed to amplify the Gospel to the streets. Over the two week period, the team was able to reach hundreds with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

This mission trip was especially important for one team member - Ryszard, a young man in our Düsseldorf Men's Home. Returning to his home town of Lodz to take part in the street rallies, he was able to reconnect and rebuild his relationship with his family, whom he had left behind when he entered the rehab home in Düsseldorf, Germany. Since entering the home, Ryszard has been rehabilitating and restoring his life through Jesus Christ.
